🥇 Racing News - London & South East CX League - Round 6
Heavy rain had made the East Bysshe equestrian cross-country course, near Lingfield, a mud-fest. Georgina Wise revelled in the conditions, taking third place at the chequered flag. Ryan Machin, who has been a model of consistency in the men in their forties category, extended his streak of 11th places to three! Dan Street was in a highly encouraging 9th place in the race for men over 50 when a tyre gave out, meaning he could no longer continue. Stephen Burgess was fleetingly in the lead for men over 70, but eventually had to settle for second. Well done all. | ![]() Georgina Wise |
🍽️ See you on Sunday!!!
Only two more sleeps until the Jubilee Lunch at Chailey on Sunday, and we’re really looking forward to seeing everybody there.
The Club will be subsidising meals by £10 per head, including those of partners. That leaves only £14.95 each to pay on the day, plus drinks.
Walking, driving, running or riding, bring your appetite and plenty of happy smiles. A party hat is optional!
PS. If you want to come and haven’t said so, reply to this email, and we’ll try to squeeze you in.
Till next time,
