🔥 Racing News…
ESCA 10 - the ESCA 10 runs this weekend on the Boship G10/87 course. Ben Gregory, and Neil Edwards will be pinning on numbers for the club. We’ll let you know how they get on next week.
London and South East CX League - CX season gets properly underway on Sunday afternoon at Stanmer Park, near Brighton. Dan Street, Darren Haynes and Steve Burgess are all expected on the start-line. If you’re in the area, drop by and give them a cheer.
Racing Round Up - a report on the 2-Up challenge, the SCA 10 & 25 mile TT’s, and East Grinstead’s Hill Climb, all featuring performances from LWCC members, is now live on the website.
🍁 Circuit of Chailey - 21 September
The Circuit of Chailey is on Sunday 21 September. We’ve had a fantastic season of TTs, as well as welcoming several new members to the club. Making our “Circuit of the Falling Leaves”, a social gathering as well as a TT would be a fabulous finale.
We’re now recruiting for riders and volunteers. Sign-up to ride or step forward as one of the five volunteers we need. Coffee, cake and club chat will reward all who attend.
🤕 Recover Quickly, Peter Baker
We were sorry to hear that Peter suffered a knock by a delivery driver in Chailey in the week. He has needed wrist surgery, which will keep him out of action for a couple of weeks, at least.
Peter’s name is added to a long list of members who have incidents in traffic, some of course with tragic consequences.
Please be careful out there 💚
Till next time,
